no limit switches or estop required , this is a base startup configuration

any problems let me know in this forum thread and i will keep this updated with additional configurations as we come across them http://linuxcnc.org/index.php/english/component/kunena/?func=view&catid=49&id=23737

3. Moding the Blue Board

3.1. 1th and Easy Step

Change the Capatitor on the bottom it is Easy even as it is SMD there is nothing arrond
there is a 1000pf on the Board change it to 150pf (SMD1206) and get so 100times more feqency (400khz)

3.2. 2nd Step lots of soldering

Change all Fr304-307 Recivier to Ultrafast UF5401-5408 ones DO201 Types
No matter what Diodes on your Board are, 3A Ultra Fast ones are Needet (16 cent eatch reichelt.de -> UF 5408)
this will meat the internel diodes, and save the circuit, the UF Diodes are a 1000 times faster then the Fr ones.
The Board will give you, with the first and the second modification, at 25k latency 10000steps per Second, SAVE without a loss,Timing same as L297.
so it is almost good to invest about 5USD into the parts and some 1hr of work.
