TkEmc

Introduction

Tkemc is the "do most anything" graphical interface. It is the default interface for both emc.run and generic.run as they exist in the EMC1 repository. It was written to test many of the parts of the software.

The screen shot shown is just a bit different than you may see when you start the EMC with the tkemc display selected.

There is a file in the emc directory named TkEmc that will allow you to set some default characteristics of the display. I found the blue background less desirable than a gray one so changed that file. If you decide to do that, make a backup so when the run fails, you can recover a good file and try again.
