1.1. Configuration troubleshooting

The pin configuration instructions I got with the board were incorrect. So were the ones I found on the net. My board came with a cover which showed the pin settings.

So in this case:

Pin 2 - X dir

Pin 3 - X Step

Pin 4 - Y dir

Pin 5 - Y step

Pin 6 - Z dir

Pin 7 - Z setp

I set everything else to unused. I was able to test each axis in Stepperconf and they moved as they should, but the machine wouldn't budge when I ran linuxCNC and loaded up some gcode. I went back and added

Pin 1 - Amplifier enable

and everything worked.
